good location well-stocked kitchen landlady graciousness low heating loud guests late arrival
The location was good. It allowed easy access to nearby attractions. A REALLY well-stocked kitchen offered fresh fruit and various breakfast options. The landlady allowed us to leave our luggage and explore the town. I appreciated her graciousness.
The heating was not very warm, made the room a bit uncomfortable. Other guests arrived late and banged on the door. It impacted our sleep GREATLY. They talked loudly for some time after entering the house, too.

Balcony Views and Relaxing Spaces

spacious home quiet part fabulous balcony
The house was spacious and featured shared areas that were quite large. My private bedroom was also great. Outside, various seating areas made quiet relaxation possible. The balcony provided fantastic views of the Tor and the surrounding countryside.
There were no door locks on the outside of the rooms, only bolts on the inside. This meant anyone could access the rooms when they were unoccupied. I would have liked an additional layer of security.
Dining
9/10
The kitchen was well-stocked with fresh fruit and breads. I noticed a variety of herbal teas were available. Several plant-based milk options were in the fridge, alongside other breakfast items. A full continental self-service breakfast was available each morning.
